A refill tracker for the BWT AQUAlizer Home 2.7 L water filter jug. Tap the button every time you fill the funnel, and Aqua tells you when the cartridge is spent.
The BWT AQUAlizer Home is a 2.7 litre table water filter jug. You pour tap water into the funnel on top, it drips through a cartridge that strips out limescale, chlorine, lead and copper while swapping calcium ions for magnesium, and clean water collects in the base. Good tap water in, better brewing water out.
The catch is that the cartridge has a finite life and the jug ships with nothing but a manual dial in the lid to track it. So it is easy to lose count, keep using a spent cartridge, and quietly undo the whole point of owning one. Aqua replaces that dial. One tap per refill, and it does the arithmetic.
Aqua counts both limits at once and flags whichever runs out first. The ring shows the worse of the two, the badge turns amber at 80% and red once you are over. That is the whole app.
